I have a 95 Cherokee laredo 6 cylinder; have been told the number 3 cylinder is dead but I don't know. So far I've only checked that there was power in the spark plug line which there is. What is the remedy for a dead cylinder?

if it is a dead cylinder check the compression of that cylinder and make sure the injector for that cylinder is also firing.
