Prado Sunroof

Asked by Sep 01, 2016 at 07:21 AM about the 2014 Toyota Land Cruiser

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The Sunroof on my 2014 Toyota Prado
exploded whilst driving on the highway at
approximately 120 km/h . There was a hole
of about 200 mm in diameter and the glass
was pointing outwards like a Vulcano ?
Has anyone had a similar experience ?
Toyota told me that they won't cover the
repairs under warranty and that it will take
4 to 6 weeks to get a new sunroof .

Try a local auto glass shop, since your paying for it. They might be able to procure the glass sooner.
