We have a ;96 Cherokee that was stolen and we got it back. We can't get it to start because the security locks are stuck on. We're told to open the passenger door with the key, but the locks were damaged with a screwdriver. Any suggestions?

You will have to replace the damaged lock cylinders and check for switch damage while you have the door panels off. A locksmith can re-key the new cylinders to match the key you have so still only need one key for both the doors and ignition. I would recommend that you disconnect the battery until the repairs are done or it could wake you up one night honking the horn or just kill the battery.
