Hey guys so is it true if the battery is not the right
size it affects the transmission on the car?

You should always follow the manufacturer's instructions and use the recommended battery. Using the wrong size battery may carry some potential problems. Today's cars and trucks are full of electronics that command almost all operating functions via computer module. The transmission is no exception. Always stay with the recommended battery for your car...do not try to improve on what the engineers at the factory have already done!

The Ford Focus has had issues with their transmissions in the model years 2012-2014 and should be avoided. Ford will swap change the software and swap the transmission and the issue of shifting will go away for awhile and come back. Keep on the dealership to make a repair.
