my jeep only has warm air through driver side vents and not on passenger side or defrost.  how can this problem be solved

Sounds like your blend door has broken and blocked the air from the other vents. I'd suggest having a mechanic or dealership do this -- I've seen a few done and you pretty much rip the entire dash out. At the very least, get a Haynes manual to help you, as it's not a quick and easy job.

I agree...blend air door is broke. there is a way to replace them by cutting the case. but I dont recommed it. This job pays abt 7hrs labor. So it quite the chore.
