Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I want to do it boil change in my 2000 Jeep
Cherokee Laredo 4 by 4 how much oil do I need to

I would buy six quarts. You don't say what engine but you can install 5 quarts and then check the oil level after starting the engine and shutting it off. Wait 5 to 10 minutes for the oil to run down and then check the oil level. Top off as needed. If you have the owners manual it will tell you exactly how much oil you will need.

Over filling by a quarter quart (1 cup) is not bad.
