What is this?

I'm not sure if this is from this vehicle because I
had a 2000 Chevy Lumina parked there too, but I
found this underneath my Jeep, maybe near the
transmission. Anyone have any idea what is could
be or where it came from/goes?

It almost seems like it's supposed to stabilize something or keep something separate. It doesn't have and break marks either. I'm very unsure if it even came off my Jeep. I scrapped a Lumina about a week ago, and maybe I just didn't notice it sitting there.

Now I'm thinking it's from my old basketball hoop base. I had a boat parked in that spot and threw that thing underneath it. And then I moved that an the boat and it might have fell off the base. But I'd like to think I would notice it right away. Maybe it stabilizes the pole in the base???
