2014 Taurus interior dome lights don't come on

I have a new car 100 miles on it and the dome lights do not come on when I open the
door  I have read the manual and nowhere do I see any information on it except telling me
how to push it on when needed to read a map

I try to turn on my interior lights for the switch and dont work check the fuse is ok and dont work anyway what to do please
