Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1989 GMC Sierra half ton
four by four 350 and I just rebuilt the
engine because it had blown head
gasket it runs find it idles great but
when you take off and drive or in a
low gear if you punch it it spits and
sputters and it's like it's flooding with
fuel and I don't know what to do to
make my injectors stop pouring so
much gas what could be the problem

If it is doing what my vehicle was doing at one time you can take off slow no problem but if you punch it from a stop would fall on its face turned out to be the transmission shift solenoid needed to be replaced.
