heater blower motor only works on high.Is it the switch or something else?

Asked by May 05, 2016 at 04:51 PM about the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1 Answer

There is a set of resistors you can put in to fix it as long as the switch is good. This is a fairly normal failure for a lot of cars and trucks. It not hard to do depending on where it located. It's normally on the passenger side behind or near the glove box. If you decide to replace it yourself do not turn the fan on until after it is reinstalled otherwise it will burn thE new one out
