Where do I find the outside temperature sensor?

Asked by PamI Jan 13, 2014 at 02:33 PM about the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The jeep is showing that the outside temperature is much higher than it actually is...(ie. showing it is up to +10 when in fact it is January in Alberta and has been as cold as -27 when this temp was showing)

It should be tucked away in the front bumper.

Thanks, but I'm wondering if I have some cardboard on the front of the jeep would that affect the temperature sensor that much?

It shouldn't at start up parked. If the sensor is in that area driving it's possible.
