car wont start

Asked by GuruWFF4H May 27, 2018 at 03:59 PM about the 2006 Jeep Liberty

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The battery and starter are new. I think it may be the fuel pump. Can I check if
that's the problem without dropping the fuel tank?

If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes?
