What would cause the battery light and brake light to come on at the same time?

Asked by Tboyd41819 Apr 18, 2019 at 10:52 AM about the 2013 Nissan Maxima

Question type: General

When I first entered my car this morning and left home to drive downtown, there were no visible problems with my car.  However, when I re-entered my car to leave downtown and head towards the office, both the battery light and brake light came on at the same time.  What does this mean?  Could there be a problem with the alternator or battery?
