Question type: General

I need to replace the base on Driver's side on the 1989, but all I'm finding are
swivel chairs from 1990.  Did the original swivel or do I need to find the seat to
go with the base?  Mine have been dismantled and reassembled with after
market dodads and I can't tell what the original may have been.  Can I sway
the whole 1990 system and put it in the 1989?

I believe that they are the same. When you say base you mean what's under the seat correct? Google an 1989 and a 1990 seat base pics and compare the pic's they look the same to me. Both square frame type bases.

Hello and thanks. Actually, I mean the post that the base and seat sit on. The passenger side I believe is original. It is round and covered with carpet
