bypassed neutral safety switch

My truck wouldnt start turns out I broke wires going to my neutral safety switch.old
switch really brittle wires. So I stripped the wire ends and started to touch them
together till it would start. Worked starts in all gears now obviously dangerouse. My
question is will this harm anything electricle on the truck till my new switch arrives

You'll be fine - just be careful and set the Parking Brake. You should always set the parking brake anyway.
