Is there anyway to access the center console/dashboard area?

Asked by Purpletulip Nov 07, 2019 at 02:17 PM about the 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan

Question type: General

Help!  My drivers license slipped off the top of
the sliding drawer on the center console and
into the dark abyss. I have tried everything I
can think of to try and get to it, and all of the
tricks that people have suggested don’t work.
There has to be a way to get to it.  Can
anyone help??

I'm sharing my answer in different sections of the Grand Caravan to let folks know what I found. I have a 2019 and determined to top of the console pops off with fingers. Start at the back of the console there's a seam in the plastic. Lift up to detach, the pull toward the rear of the vehicle to detach the clips at the dash. Its not difficult using fingers.
