car won't start

one of my keys started where it was hard to put in the ignition.  One morning
the car wouldn't start by remote start.  I went to start care and nothing
happened.  the radio and lights worked fine.

I took to auto part store and was told it was the battery and replaced battery.

A few days later the same problem so I used my spare key and the key went
in with no problem but would start.  My auto mechanic neighbor told me to
wiggle the place the key went in.  I had to do this several times before the
car would start.  this has happened several times during the week.  the
problem isn't all the time,

Your truck seems too new to have this problem, but I'd suspect that the primary key is worn to the point that it no longer activates the cylinder correctly. Your spare key that is rarely used doesn't have this problem. Just cut a new primary key.


Tried spare key and having same issue. Twice. My neighbor told me to wiggle key so after 10+ or so tries it starts. Sometimes it starts with no problem other times it doesn’t.


Then the ignition cylinder is worn out or defective.
