on 2013 Nissan Altima there's an indicat or with two cars on my dashboard. looks like it indicatess a collision of some sort. what does it mean?

Page 4-7 show couple of cars on touch screen as traffic information button.

Page 5-20 talks of blind spot warning system. The indicator does appear to be what you are describing.
