my code light with a t/c came on.  Any idea

It is the traction control look near the center console or on the dash should be a button to push to turn on

If you spun the wheels on some sort of slick, wet or sand covered pavement the T/C light will come on briefly. If the light stays on look for the traction control button and push it. If this does not turn off the light there is an issue with the traction control system and it needs to be serviced.
