Replacing motor mount for 1996 Ford taurus 3.0 DOHC

Asked by Jan 09, 2017 at 07:54 PM about the 1996 Ford Taurus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How do i get the nut loose on the passenger
side mount? The nut is VERY tight.

Nice middle finger, lol. Anyway you can try soaking the nut in penetrating oil, let it soak in and keep spraying it, it may have to soak in the penetrating oil, for a say ir so. You can try heating the nut. If you have the room you can put a pipe over the wrench or ratchet and use leverage to remove a nut...good luck
