2013 Hyundai Sonata Acceleration problem
My 2013 Hyundai Sonata has 108,000 miles, it starts and drives perfectly fine
with no warning lights when I drive it very easy. If I bring my car on the highway,
when I am driving along and choose to accelerate all the warning lights come
on, I am no longer able to accelerate, when I pull over and turn my car off and
then back on everything is then fine again.
Sounds like a fuel filter issue. It clogs, the when you stop the flow it clears. That's what I would check.
I just wanted to give an update on this in case anyone is having the same issue, I was unable to determine the direct issue however, I would just like to let all other owners of 2013 Sonatas (other years included but I will just speak of my experience) that there is a recall for these engines and to have your engines checked at the dealership, my entire engine had to be replaced and they did it under warranty and for free. I can only speak under my experience, it was a 2013 Hyundai Sonata and I had 108,000 miles and it was all covered with no hassle and at no charge.
