Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have a Mitsubishi Galant 2012 and our brakes
started to make an awful squealing noise every
time the brakes were applied. So we used the can
of brake spray in a metallic color and sprayed the
mortars. Finally we had a friend/ mechanic change
our brakes free of charge. Oh yeah! Right? Wrong!
Brakes still made sounds from before but no where
near as bad. One day it was raining I stopped to
turn into a store when the brake pedal vibrated
under my foot and light indicator flashed (abs)
then that was the end of it. Now the brakes were
worn down pretty bad and were starting to grind to
where you could feel it. With the cold weather here
we decided to have the brakes changed again but
for better pads plus every time we stopped shortly
the light on dash (brake) would flicker then be
gone. We did not drive it like that but 2 days max.
A couple days later... After friend helped again...
we were coming to a slow when the (asc) light
came on and did not go off till turning the engine
off. Every time we drive it about 10-15 minutes
afterward the light will come back on. Won't go off
till engine it shut off. What do you think?
