how do I diagnose a thermostat?

Asked by May 02, 2016 at 03:50 PM about the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Temperature gauge moves from 1/2 to 3/4, and it's usually between 1/4 and 1/2. Heat only starts to get warm when gauge is around 3/4 which is not usual. I was afraid to drive it for very long. Does this sound like a thermostat?
