Front Drive Line

Asked by Lucille Mar 04, 2019 at 12:12 PM about the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My service adviser suggested we get front brake work.  After the brake job my
brakes made loud noses when stopping.  After many times returning with the
problem, I was advised by an adviser that it is the front drive line.  Is it the rack
and pinion?

If there was no problem before the brake job but now there is, the noise is from the brake job, not the drive line or rack and pinion steering. Sometime new brakes are noisy but if it persists or gets worse, they owe you a second look and fix it, not brush you off. If you paid by credit card, stop payment to get their attention if you have too.
