I recently hit a pothole and bent 2 of my
rims. I'm just curious of yalls opinion if it is
safe to drive until I replace them. There still
holding air and there are no vibrations so far.
You didn't bend the bead area, so as long as they hold air, temporary use is fine.
Ok how about this one?
With either rim, you might see some unusual tire wear over time, but remember, this IS temporary. They are holding air now, so replace the rims soon. These rims are pretty common and you should be able to find them at a salvage yard. Not only should you look at the rim diameter, but the bead width, as well.
Those are the wheel covers (hubcaps). I can't see any actual wheel damage.
F_O_R The damage is on the wheels themselves. I just havent taken the hubs off yet
Ed92626 Thank you for the help. I appreciate it
