Malfunction indicator light

Asked by GuruKTW6 Apr 29, 2017 at 07:05 PM about the 2012 Hyundai Accent

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got an oil change today at Hyndaiu dealer and just
a few miles down the road the malfunction indicator
light came on. I checked the oil cap and oil and
everything looked good. Any suggestions?

Check your fluids and caps. Recently my malfunction indicator light came on and I popped the hood and saw that my radiator cap was gone. Also the coolant was very low. So I went to AutoZone and bought a radiator cap for $10 and some 50/50 and that resolved the problem. So check your caps, fluids and hoses.
