Installing Power steering fluid, steering has become very stiff to turn

You may have installed the wrong fluid. But more likely, you may have spilled some fluid on the drive belt and it's now slipping and the power steering pump isn't pumping hard enough to run things. With the engine off, try to wipe off the belt as much as you can.
