Is there a way to open the trunk/lift gate without using the fob?

Fob doesn't unlock trunk/lift gate and I haven't found another way to open it

Hit the unlock button on the remote twice. Then get behind the tailgate and just above the license plate and below the Dodge logo there is either a small handle or a rubber squeeze button to release the tailgate. Its either right in the middle or off to the right a little bit.

hi i have a dodge journey my tailgate door wont open there is a piece of cloth stuck in there any suggestion?? please i need help thanks in advance

The 2016 has a button to the left of the license plate lights Driver's side tail gate handle is on the passenger side (right)
