2011 CR-V - Bad Gas Mileage

Asked by bnolen Jul 13, 2011 at 01:41 PM about the 2011 Honda CR-V

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello,

Bought an 2011 CR-V in late January.  Have almost 6,000 miles on it.  On average I get 280 miles per tank.  I have a 15 gallon take, but hardly ever put more than 13.25 gallons in it, even when it says I have 0 miles til empty.  Also, I sometimes I notice I'll have 150 miles til empty - check it a few miles later and will have lost 50 or so miles that I never get back.  We have taken to the dealership twice and they can't find anything wrong.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks

That's just an average. Your range is based on the gallons in your car and your average mile per gallon. It's not an actual amount you will get.
