2004 Infiniti G35 system issues

I'm wondering what could be the cause of different systems in my car to
cycle thru phases of working and then not working. Example:  for months
everything is fine except one headlight begins being on then flickers off and
then even though that continues the radio cycles on and off...working then
not working, the engine will not start for weeks or more then suddenly it
works fine and that's that. I think it's something to do with electrical or
computer related as it affects different components at different times.  Now
my idiot lights are all on and they do that off and on too, but never that
many just one or 2 at a time.  It's not my battery or alternator..they have
been checked and like I said it cycles thru the different systems for months
now.  Is there any known issues with this model that are similar to mine?

I would start with the check engine light to see why its on ...its a starting point possible to the mystery ...

I had the codes run...only thing that showed up is the camshaft sensor...but I'm still thinking even though that is a major cause but just this little something else that's making me think it's only part of the problem. That sensor would only be directly related to the firing letting the computer know to start the engine (if i got that correctly simplified?) it doesnt explain why other systems are not functioning correctly ie the radio, the idiot lights all coming on and off the head lights alternation left/right or on and off one light only. I'm going to research more on how easy or not it is to change out the sensor as the sensor itself didnt scare me as badly as I thought it would in price...but it its too complicated I'll need to go to a mech...just going to cringe even if its a good thing to find out if there are other issues to deal with because $68 could become $600+
