Best way to contact Chevy
We own a 2011 Chevy Equinox that we bought 15 months ago. It has under 100,000 miles. The 1st auto repair mechanic said that the timing chain lost tension and jumped time. The engine cranks over rapidly due to low compression indicating that the valves are damaged. We contacted Chevy's customer service dept. They told us to bring the car to the nearest Chevy dealer. We did that and the result is that they will not help us repair the car at all. It just seems so wrong that a car with under 100,000 miles dies, and the company does nothing to right the wrong. Is there anything I can do?
Drivetrain warranty is long expired. You bought a used car, and things go wrong. Best thing to do is repair it properly and drive it for many more years. Maybe GM would help with the cost, but don't bet on it. Good Luck.
