BMW m5 spilled water on entertainment center

Asked by LHS_2235 Feb 15, 2017 at 12:01 AM about the 2002 BMW 5 Series

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I  spilled some water on my fiancé's
entertainment center and it was flooded:(  I'm not
sure how much water went down the cracks.  I had
a water cup tipped sideways. He has 2002 m5.
What should I do?

I feel so bad since he took me out on a nice dinner
and got me flowers and chocolates and I spilled
water on his entertainment center ;(

All you can do now is help to dry the car out. A moisture absorbent could help. Buy him a tub of DampRId.

Sorry about those auto spell correct words above. Its something that can be fixed or cleaned up. If he is that worried he can take it somewhere and get it took care of or do it his self, and if his nice about help him, its not rusting over night. If he loves his car more than you now is a good time to figure that out. Its just a car and sooner or later it will be gone, they all do unless its a show room queen that never sees daylight.

I drove up to his house and surprised him with a tub of dampRid in hopes it would get the moisture out. He was super sweet about the situation. He said its jsut a car and not to worry about it. He said maybe sometime later it will be a project that the both of us can work on. He's curious to see how the DampRid will Perform:) Thanks you guys for all you tips and tricks!
