BMW WILL NOT MOVE IN ANY GEAR.

Hopefully just low fluid,if fluid is good,tranny may be gone bad.

If it's a manual trans. check clutch master cylinder fluid level, it could also be a bad clutch master cylinder or clutch slave cylinder. this could cause the clutch and trans. not to engage.

check shift cable linkage wire may be to loose

My car is experiencing the same problem. Mines an automatic btw. We have no idea what it could possibly be. Just a couple ideas maybe, torque converter or fuel pump? We're not sure. Help please! Did you get yours figured out?

hi guys quick question i have a 1995 328i automatic the car was driving perfect until this happend. i was getting the car towed to my house and before i did the gearknob was abit still so i moved the gearknob back and fourt a few times and it freed up. i didnt check it after that it got towed then. but now it doesntseem to select any gear can someone plzz help thanks

Hi guys im having a problem with my bmw e46 318i n42 b2.0. Automatic. I recently did an engine overhal. The vehicle starts fine. 1. It idles for a short time and stops/dies. When rerving it, it rerves well. 2. When it idles when i select drive or reverse it doesnt move. Pls help

I'm driving a 2001 330xi BMW with an inline 6 and it has the GM a5s390r or something like that and was driving fine since the day we got it no shimmies no noise no slippage immediate response on the upper end etc we parked at that night I got out there the next morning to drive it it starts immediately you can feel it shifting but it won't go nowhere so we changed out fluid and filter I even put all five of the throttle body solenoids I replaced three for shifting one for the torque converter the TCC and I believe the third one is the pulse or pressure modulator solenoid or something but I replaced all three of those and still nothing should really use some help with the same issue but I thought I'd give you what I've done and you can feel it it drops into gear but it doesn't seem to have enough pumps to do anything even when you rev it up so it's either not going all the way in or I lost a pump without any warning or I lost my torque converter but like I say there doesn't seem to be any signs of shavings etc in the oil or the pan or the magnet or any of that so if anybody can help shout out please
