I have a problem with a 2013 Chevrolet Aveo engine noise

I have a problem with a 2011 Chevrolet Aveo, since a few days the engine
noise does not change when I change from the 4th to the 5th gear, it used to
getting more quiet, no more, the service station told me it might be the ball
bearings in one or two tires ????
