I had similar happen- but I was driving on the freeway 70MPH in my 2012 Sorento I had owned for 101 days. at 70MPH i went to accelerate and nothing happened when I pushed the pedal. Looked at the dash and all my dash indicators were lit. I was able to safely make it to the shoulder. Luckily where I was, Courtesy Patrol saw me and pulled over to check on me because I forgot my phone that day. I had my car towed to dealership and I had blew the engine - but it wasn't "MY" fault - there is a recall on some motors associated with various years and models. Mine was from the recall so they replaced my engine with a factory refurbished engine at no cost to me. Maybe wouldn't hurt to have it towed to a dealership or do a VIN check for recalls? Good Luck!!!
