Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car lost power, the half power yellow light came on, and I could just feel how the car is loosing it's power. Stop and then the car did not want to start again. Just made a "buzz click" sound. Towed it home and my husband try to start it, the engine swings (not sure what the right wording is) but did not start. Can my intake manifold be the problem?

my car is currently at the mechanic and he just told me today that he is going to take off the intake manifold to check if he can see the fault. Just asking the question because I have no idea what to expect and what the problem can be. I had the yellow half power engine light problem coming on and going away again from the day I bought the car. (second hand). Computer can not pin point the problem for the light to come up and going away again.
