Shifter cable broke

Asked by Jun 06, 2019 at 10:13 AM about the 1997 Ford Thunderbird

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Couldn't get it out of park then it would release and
shift fine but then couldn't get it back to pack or
neuter so I could start it. Well now the cable
snapped out of its bracket someone said need a
new cable but I don't know what's involved to put a
new one in.
