what makes my car go side to side after going over a bump and a bump sound
in the rear when stopping sometimes?

Something wrong with the suspension. Probably worn parts. Just take it in to a shop to get checked out. A front end alignment shop would be best.

probably worn out rear shocks or struts, very worn out
