Mini heater problem

130

Asked by Greg230656 Jan 13, 2017 at 01:24 PM about the 2010 MINI Cooper

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The heating in the car is only hot when driving at speed e.g. Motorway
driving. As soon as you get into traffic the heating goes cold. I have just
changed the thermostat but that has not worked. Can someone please advise
me on what to try next?
Thanks Greg

Low heater output at low engine speeds is a sure sign of an air pocket. bleed the system at high RPM as possible to get all the air out of the system...
