2010 Dodge Grand Caravan stuck in park

My 2010 dodge caravan is stuck in park. it happens intermittently and is annoying. I took out the shifter assembly on the dash and found the release broken and replaced it. Problem went away. Came back few months later. Called dealership and they told me to change the brake switch which i did. Still having the issue... Not sure what else to do it will drive using the release to allow it to get out of park but im out of ideas need help!!
