Would stuffing your cars exhaust pipe with snow cause carbon monoxide poisoning?

Yes if it didn't melt out right away, and I would be surprised if you didn't notice a difference in how the engine was running. There must be a hole or something in the exhaust.

It could if there is a leak and the plugged off pipe directs exhaust to the cabin.
