i have a 03 hyundai sonta and i start it and it just die right down could it be the fuel?

i hear fuel pump come on when about to start. i thought it might need a jump so i put the jump box on it and nothing. it wonts to start but have that sound like it dont have enough power

Check fuel pump relay makes bad connection, it's known about this car years 01 to 07 to make bad connection do to the relay getting hot well driving, easy fix bend the pins a little and put it back in should work. happen to me
