Hyundai Santa Fe timing belt

My timing belt broke how do I find out if it's worth
fixing and if it can be on this type if truck...is it
worth it??

Probably not worth fixing if the timing belt broke. This engine is an interference engine, so you would expect bent valves, which means the head would need to be reworked, or just replaced. Then if there is a lot of miles on the vehicle, and had all this fixed, you more than likely would turn the engine into an oil burner, because the compression raises when refurbishing the head, and pulls the oil up past the rings.
