ford rangeri no power

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed my  starter solenoid and after hooking
the battery back up I have no power at all. No
lights or anything. What could cause this?  Any
help is greatly appreciated

There should be 2 wires connected to the big terminal on the solenoid, the thick one from battery and a smaller one to the fuse link
