Filled my car with gas....all of a sudden the engine would die while idling at red lights. However, it will start right back up.....Someone suggested changing the fuel filter..???

Probably cleaning the throttle body and the MAF sensor would be good. Is the check engine light on?

i had the same problem not the fuel filter, it's fuel pump relay easy fix pull your fuel pump relay out bend pins a little put back in, fuel pump relay has a bad connection the fuel pump relay gets hot and make a weak socket and makes bad connection so bend pins put back in to make connection good again. cost me $780.00 just to find out the relay had a bad connection.
