The security system is programmed to activate when the power supply is removed, so that is one reason, the other means that you have not installed the preset saver unit before you disconnected power, sometimes this can result in a vehicle that may start and run but some or none of the accessories will work, if this happens then a trip to the dealer is required to have th system reflashed to match the vehicles Vin.
