Airbag service light came on for 2010 impala
Doesn't have too, you could have a bad sensor and needs to be checked out...
GMs are notorious for condensation getting in the impact sensors behind the front bumper. Another trouble spot is the clock spring in the steering column. If you have steering wheel controls for the radio, cruise control, etc. that aren't working it's most likely the clock spring. Best to have your local Chevy Dealer look at it. Also note, with the airbag light on the airbags will NOT deploy. Even in a collision. HTH. -Jim
I had this problem a little over a year ago. Service Air Bag. I took car to Chevy dealer. I plan to make an appointment. Will I be charged for this service again?
Yes, you will be charged. -Jim
