my driver side AC vents blow hot air but passenger side blows vents blow cold air from the

right now i closed the vents on the right side driver vents even one on front
console for the driver vent   which is releasing hot air even with the AC not on

The proportioning valve under the dash is not working or is stuck. IT is not fun to replace. You can try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes which re-calibrates the air conditioning system and see if that works.
