Are Hyundais reliable cars?

Asked by Jul 28, 2017 at 04:12 PM about the 2005 Hyundai Sonata

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm looking into buying a used 2005 Hyundai Sonata.  It only has 20,500 miles
on it which is great.  They are selling it for $3,500.  Is this a good deal?

That is very low miles for a 13 year old car. I would wonder why. Have a mechanic check it out before buying and get a Car Fax.

Hyundai's can be relied on to suck your wallet dry if you buy one used, check the reviews on the one your looking at. Hyundai is on the do not buy used list right along with Kia, Mitsubishi, so if your still interested then get a carfax and have your mechanic check it all over before purchasing.
