Walter, my Jack Rascal, bounced up and down on top of my cargo cover and before I could get to him he had pulled most of the end out of the roller. Nothing is torn or broken, but I was wondering if anyone had dealt with this problem? It's kind of like putting a rollup blind back together, but I haven't figured out how to get the roller out of it's holder.

It is fixed. It took 2 friends working together to do it. 1 is right handed the other a leftie. 1 on each end. They just kinda wiggled & futsed the ends off. Then they CAREFULLY used an exacto knife to go UNDER the cover still attached to the roller and remove it. Then they cleaned the bits of glue off the roller. When it was clean they put a strip of that 2-sided carpet along the roller where the cover had been attached. Then with 1 person at each end they stuck the cover down evenly onto the tape on the roller. They rolled the cover back up and wriggle jiggled the ends back on (this took a couple of tries) and I took it home and put it back in Carnelia - my sweet Equinox.
